El Mezcal in Arlington

Had chicken soup and shrimp ceviche both were very good. Loads of chicken in the soup and it was nice and hot.

the manager at the register is the reason i am posting this. he is rude, unshaven, and dirty and can barely talk. (He is probably here illegally) There was a horrible odor coming from the menu. After swiping my card at checkout a couple of days later I got a fraud alert from my bank saying that my card had been hacked. This was the only place i had used it. I only rated one star so i could post this. I will never go there again.

We ordered $100 worth of foo . The 2 chicken cheese and rice we order, had no rice. Call the restaurant and was told to bring it back to prove it!!!!! So , we left our home to bring our food back to prove it. They had a bad attitude and we were not happy with the way they handle it. Not sure if we will ever retur .

The food would be a four star, but the lack of beer brings it down. The margaritas and daquaries are good.

Food is always fast and hot. I like the Arlington location more than the others.

Bueno. Reliably good food and service. A standby in Arlington, the folks are very nice. Dont forget to ask for jalapeños on your fajita.

I came here a couple weeks ago, the food was great and the service was fantastic, I've never been served so well, at ANY restaurant. Definitely recommend.

The food is always good and the staff is very friendly. It's just down the road so we either eat there or pick it up and take it home. Good stuff!

The quality of food was mediocre. Nothing special. I do appreciate their social distancing efforts. All employees wore face masks and I never saw a nose uncovered. If I was looking for mexican in Arlington, I'd consider eating here, but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Can't go wrong with anything in the menu here. I've tried about everything and it's all good. The Pollo Tapatillo is awesome.

El Mezcal has been a second home for me and my family for years. Great food at a fair price and a fantastic crew of employees. Excellent on Sunday afternoons and weeknights alike. I really can't speak enough of how good Mezcal is to its regulars. If you're up for trying something new, ask about the horchata ("Or-chah-tah"). It's an iced and sweetened cinnamon rice milk that's perfect on a warm day.

Great neighborhood spot for Mexican. Very friendly and attentive staff. Service is always fast. Their chicken wings used to be huge but they have since become quite small and unmemorable.

It's a good local restaurant. We visit frequently because of the convenience. There food is always good and service is also good. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it's consistently good. I always order the chicken fajitas and will continue to do so. The chicken wings are huge. My dad orders them every time and they're his favorite. He actually orders wings every restaurant her goes to and the ones at Mezcal are his favorite.

I've been to a couple other locations but Arlington has them beat! This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants outside of Abuelos

This was very much your typical Mexican restaurant. I would add that they had very good service! I was there with a large group and they accommodated everyone and did so with a smile. I even had a justments to my menu selection and they did that without a problem and correctly. Portions were very generous. Everyone seems to like their food.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Server refused to do seperate checks for our two parties and said if we didn't like it "we could just leave", which is exactly what we did. You would think the recovering food industry would welcome the business but I guess that's not the case at Mezcal. We went right around the corner to another mexican resturant and had a wonderful experience.

Never have a bad day; nice employees, good food, prepaired quick. Clearly have good management.

Got the grilled steak taco salad, it was delicious.

Just too cliche and not good. The 1 gallon sized beer was a nice surprise
